I was at the Tesco’s self checkout and next to me is a vegan with blue hair buying all the quorn chicken available in Tesco and looking smug & down on me for buying 2 whole chickens, 2 chicken thighs, 2 packs of chicken wings, 1 lamb leg and 2 stakes for my summer BBQ with Pims and lemonade.

my question to them and all vegans is that why do you need to eat any form of chicken anyway?? You are a vegan for meat’s sake!

With that in mind, how vegan are these vegans are with their metal straws, blue hair and mouth stuffed with synthetic chicken?

Not all Quorn is Vegan friendly.

I am a veggie and I buy quorn (an other meat substitutes). Why? Because it's convenient and a good source of protein. I'm not a big nuts, pulses and lentils fan.

I’m known as veganish. Eat mostly vegan at home (though not fake meat...what is that all about!). Will choose the vegan option if it looks good. Will absolutely eat a pork pie if there’s some on offer.

I don’t believe in all this quorn stuff, well I know it exists but it should just be called lumps of quorn really instead of all this quorn chicken, quorn burgers, quorn sausages etc etc. It’s all the same in different shapes. Just buy lumps of the stuff and make your own shapes to suit.
