It's got lukewarm reviews but i think it's good. I don't think he'll ever top Borat, but this was a lot better than Bruno. There's a great joke about blink 182 in the first episode that is easily missed and Bernie Sanders asks him if he's mentally disabled in the first scene, which is priceless. |

They can be funny but slightly cringey if they are scripted interviews and both of them being in on it, I don't like these type of programs when its just a set up to embarrass someone just to try and be funny, Even if I don't like the person being interviewed |

Yes if they are in on it then it ruins the concept. But i doubt these lobbyists and politicians would allow themselves to look so stupid. Sanders just looked genuinely confused. |

What we learnt from the milgram experiment is that some people will follow pretty much anything an authority figure tells them to do. I do wonder whether they filmed them for a long day where it was mostly sensible and then these were the crazy bits so he established credibility earlier. |
