You see the profile, it draws you in, and as opposed to doing the usual sit back and wait to see if they contact you, you decide to message.
But how much detective work do you do first? Study pictures and their backgrounds, reverse image search, read veris and cgeck how genuine the author is?
How deep do you investigate before you decide to move forward?  |

Personally... don't reverse search pictures... I read the profile... look at pictures... if there is veris... read them...might check to see it they did a her I back...can give some insight to their personality
And if interested send a personalised message with a face picture... never had a reply yet...  |

As most (in fact pretty much all) the people I contact are through the forums it's usually a case of being fairly familiar with them already and their profile/pics and then further messaging is all that's needed  |

I read the profile, browse the photos, read verifications then if I'm interested then I drop them a line.
Not once has it ever crossed my mind to do google reverse imaging or whatever it's called. For me this is about fun, not carrying out a full investigation and third degree on someone. That's just ridiculous IMO. |

I'm a detective.
I check out pics, veris, and then follow the trail.
I'm often completely put off what seemed like a decent profile after doing that.
I've also reversed searched quite a few pics, and caught out several fakes in the process.
I'm not going to engage in conversation, let alone contemplate meeting anyone without doing my homework.
I value my health & safety far too much

Instinct first.
I have done a GRIS before and it’s bought back results which I mentioned to them and they admitted it wasn’t them so I blocked them.
I’m very picky on who I meet, and when I do, I rely on my gut instinct mostly and a few other little things! |

Check her veri's,
contact her veri's,
reverse her images,
check them for clues,
use the distance on her profile to pin her down to a quarter mile radius,
find out where she lives,
park my camper van down the street,
see who comes in and out of her house,
find out where she works,
take my son with me,
goes in and says his lost,
see how nice she is to him,
lift her purse,
go to her address,
give her the purse and say "my son had this in his pocket",
she invites me in,
have sex with her,
swap numbers,
then i decide if i want to message her on fab or not |
