a friend of mine was admitted to hospital with horrific back pains thinking something like a kidney infection only to be told she was in labour she had not an clue she was pregnant even though she had been pregnant 3 times before and had nothing to indicate a pregnancy as she had finished her family 16 years earlier |

A friend of mine thought she was in menopause and didn't realise she was pregnant until she was 7 months and she had had 3 children before. She found out when she went to the doctors with severe heartburn. Boy did she get a shock |

my friend had periods all the way through and the movements che felt were very slight and she thought trapped wind and she didn't increase in size a jot i saw her every 6 weeks for her haircut and she genuinely didn't look any different is size or shape at all, first i knew was when her mum rang me from the hospital to say she wasn't going to make her appoinment that morning as she was in labour |

"I had periods for 3 months into my pregnancy. Turned out I'd got a cervical cyst. But then the heartburn and enormous belly gave it away."
I went the whole 9 months having periods.
The fact that I was trying for a baby gave me my first clue I may be pregnant... my second clue was the horrendous morning sickness lol |

i think 9 months of preparation time to plan for a baby is a must.. emotionally i was a wreck with just 9 weeks. Didnt seam real
Truly feel sorry for women who have no preparation time |

more north lincs than mids! |
I knew from about the minute the egg was fertilised on my first pregnancy, wasn't that much later into my second when I found out. By the end of both I was like a steak pie with hands and feet ... the size of me!
I do know of a woman who didn't know she was pregnant tho, stood on a drawing pin at work, went into the toilet to check for damage as she was wearing tights and it turned out she had haemorraghed (sp?) and was taken to the hospital, gave birth to a little boy later that night |
