I know it sounds weird, but why do people get so precious about friend requests on here?
On other apps friend requests are just common and people add others at random.
I can understand why requests on Facebook are rejected when there is a lot of personal information flying about. But here, everyone seems incognito anyway.

Because I have pictures I only want to share with actual ‘friends’ I have met on here. I don’t want picture collectors seeing less clothed pics of me. If you want to follow someone then just ‘hotlist’ them. |

I’ll send/accept friend requests if we’ve been chatting and I can see us meeting*. Other than that I ignore friend requests. Only wanting to see my friends only pics - which are boring anyway!
And I don’t accept random friend requests on other social media - if anything, I’d find it more strange 
*I have a few lovely formites on my friends list, an exception to the rule  |

But those apps don’t have pictures like we do on here. I have naked pics in mine and only want guys I’ve been intimate with to see them or people I want to meet. I don’t put naked pics of Pof or Instagram. Completely different. |

The people on my friends list are friends. People I built up a rapport with. People I want to see the updates of.
BigCockGeorge34* sends a random request. If I accept it will just clog up my updates. There’s absolutely no point in accepting. He just wants to nosey at my friends gallery

That’s fine but if someone has lots in the friends only folder like me then there is a reason for that and I want to be selective who see’s them. |

I agree with your point, but there are loads of people who have naked pics on their profiles that seem special about being added as friends too. I was merely curious as to why people do it.  |

It's a private folder, what would be the point of it if people just accepted friend requests from anyone ? We have more intimate and naughty pics in our friends only folder because there's a possibility of meeting one day and they can see how we roll  |

It's obvious that if I get a friends request without having even chatted to someone, then they are just wanting to perv my friends only photos, and I ain't just sex object. |

I’m guessing because many have friends only pics that they don’t want just anyone to see
We only accept requests off people we’ve met or hope to meet in the future, I don’t see the point in collecting a bunch of random ‘friends’ for no reason

I don’t accept friend requests because i like to come on, faff around and not make small talk with someone who is only saying hello because out of all their “friends” i’m the only one online.

I don't add random strangers to my social media accounts.
Last time we had face pics public on here I got stalked. I am happy to show people we are chatting to our mugs but allowing anyone and everyone who sends a friends request access just puts me at risk of another nut job following me home, the same house my children live - I'll pass on that thanks!

Friends pics are for friends and people we have met or planning to do so.
We've had people asking to be our friend so they see a face pic of us both and try and use the fact we are on here against us in vanilla life, black mail basically.
So we learnt early on no meet no friend! |
