It is something that is being considered in many cities.
In Nottingham they introduced a tax on company parking spaces called the workplace parking levy. Every business that has 11 or more parking places has to pay the tax which is around £400 per parking space annually. Most employers have passed this cost onto their employees.
The city council are still considering implementing a congestion charge as well  |
