Can anyone give me some advise. I’m looking to get a turntable and speakers soon, just wondering if I need an amp to make it all work.
Eventually I will add a CD player and DAB radio so expect I’ll need one at that point, but to begin with it’s just a turntable.
Thanks

It depends on the turntable - some have built-in amps, but the old-school "separates" hi-fi gear turntables don't. Bose and B&O make some good kit, but I'm not sure about UK stuff. |

Still got my Old School 80's Pioneer system, tapes too!
Generally there are some good amps available and places such as ebay or some local electrical stores that deal with used stuff can be a good source too.
The British heart foundation has a shop on ebay, they get some great stuff there. |
