I think it means someone is respectful.

Genuine means a person who never let down his/her meet and make things clear to void any misunderstanding !!

And prove to be a respectful and have the manners to treat other people nice and being friendly.

I used it when I wrote my profile and am now doubting how its meaning is perceived.

I meant it as to distinguish from keyboard fantasists.

It’s also a skill such as empathy is. I’m not one to listen through non sex chat at a social, and be thinking “but I just want to fuck you” I’m interested in people and their stories.

The word has somehow now lost its way, in the same way “literally” has (figuratively speaking

)
