Not quite the same but I dived into an ice cold lake in winter to rescue somebody once so had to get out of my uniform. I just put my training kit on. If I ripped my pants tho I’d definitely have to change, or at least not go out of the office, the public don’t want to see my arse hanging out.  |

I did that at work about 18 months ago.
I was crouched down putting shoes on a mannequin and hear the rip, an 8 inch split on the arse seam.
Thankfully my employer supplies the uniform and had my size in the stock room |
