Buyers remorse

Ever spent money on the whim or impulsively on something and immediately or even weeks later regretted it after with no turn back? Was it a lot?

I just find it increasingly easier to feel this way more than I ever did before or maybe it's called getting older.

The Town by The Cross

Buy in haste , repent in leisure.....

Never make impulse buys. If you haven't thought before that you need something ........ then you don't.

Yes. Usually shoes that rub after wearing them for 2 hours.

A world all of his own

I'm usually the opposite. Spend ages deciding what I want etc so I don't tend to impulse buy.

most fundamental aspects

Bought a car online and immediately knew I had won it at far too cheap a price. Worst thing was, it was a real world auction with online bidding too. If I’d only driven the 30 miles, I would have seen what everyone else saw

"What have you bought x"

Nothing really, I am usually quite frugal, so I was just wondering from the point of view of someone who is a little more liberal in this sense.

As to why I think it is increasingly more likely to feel this way; I did buy a few things last year like flights that when looking a few months later were £80 cheaper which was a little annoying, suppose I just shouldn't have looked again

Yes, I once bought a short from an online shop, once it arrived, I realised that there was a skid mark in it.

I'm incredibly extravagant but never have any regrets about it. If it was a mistake, too bad

A Grey Talbo car. You should have seen the state of it. Was like there had been a bareback orgy taken place in there.

An umbrella which opens upside down. I'm so easily swayed by the 'bargains' they had

I bought a very expensive latex outfit on a whim. It’s been hanging in my wardrobe for almost 3 months now. No opportunity to wear it. What was I thinking ????

You were thinking if you bought the outfit you'd make the time. Make the time dammit.

Brighton - even Hove!

It’s because of built in obsolescence that things are crap these days. My mum had a washing machine same one for over 20 years. We get s new one about every 4 years. Even good makes like Miele.

The crappiest thing I bought was a garden hoover. Total waste of money.

You’re right it’s such a waste, I will find the time!

Just need to think of the place now .....
