had this conversation about sporting summers... and everyone being chuffed for two weeks with the "its coming home" stuff...
I was argueing that the the two weeks when we had when the olympics was on in london gave us a better feeling... but it was close....
so has there been an event thats brought us all together........ |

Leicester winning the Premier league perhaps. Everyone wanting to see the little guy do something special.
England Rugby Union side winning the 2003 World Cup.
The 2005 Ashes series.
I think they all brought people together who wouldn't normally have done. |
