I've only just tried Gin for the first time a couple of days ago as the pub had run out of my normal drinks that I have and got to say I loved it!

Some pink gin or something? What are the other best flavours of this wonderful stuff I should have tried years ago!

The Lidl gins (Hortus) are surprisingly good, and great value. Perfect for cocktails.

Pink Pepper, and the Whitley Neill blood orange are faves at present.

Brockmans is another lovely one.

I normally drink Guinness and prefer beers that taste like charcoal but the above gin is fantastic! Mixed with lemonade it’s delicious

Nottingham

I've got a couple of favourites at the moment.

Tanqueray sevilla, bought yesterday and a third of the bottle gone already - oops

Redsmith dry apple gin. Made by a small artisan distillery here in Nottingham and not available in the shops. You can order directly from them online, just google it because I can't share a link on here. It's distilled with bramley apples and is lovely but a bit pricey at £43 a bottle.

Not meeting

I bought a bottle of M&S mint & cucumber gin (only because it was on offer) & surprisingly love it!!

I have yet to find a gin I don’t like but I drank a lot of Juniper Green (hence my SF username) at one point.

Whitley Neill Quince (green bottle) is my current favourite though.

B x
