I can't flipping sleep.
I'm knackered, it's been a tough couple of weeks at work and I'm seriously lacking in the Zeds department.
I have Thursday and Friday off as I'm owed some time so I was aiming for a good sleep tonight then up early, get the housework done then go do some parent maintenance tomorrow leaving me Friday, Saturday and Sunday free to do as I or we choose.
But I'm laid here wide awake.
My body is screaming for sleep. The sleep bit of head says "Nah, we got this, let's go for an all nighter!".

I don't have insomnia..
I have Chronic fatigue syndrome which is like insomnia on steroids..
I am awaiting results on a couple of things which could alter my life drastically but hey..
Im.not complaining...yet

I am totally scunnered of all the football want it to just end work is horrendous with it am a manager in ladbrokes its so annoying everyone moaning about losing money "well dont bloody bet then ya muppets" had one guy bet £1236. Today depressing as fuck i earn 1070 for a month before tax and he just throws that away on a horse anyway thats my rant over thanks |

That sounds awful - I’m guessing you have but have you tried getting up and doing something to take your mind off the fact that you aren’t sleeping?

This is a tough one - without those people throwing away that much money on a horse, you wouldn’t have any work to go to. Well not that work anyway.
But I can understand the frustration about moaning customers

I very rarely rant...mainly because I'm not a ranty person...but...I've had a really shit day at work and I know I'm going to have another shitty day at work tomorrow. The one saving grace was being able to look forward to a great Saturday. That has now just been cancelled. I understand the reason why but I still want to scream. Shit shit shit SHIT!!!!! |

I didn’t have a rant today (mostly because I couldn’t be arsed to give any more thought to what I could rant about).
But I bloody have one now. I have spent time on the phone in the last couple of days with my young niece who is heartbroken over the death of her cat, which is horrible in itself. But tonight I am absolutely raging after speaking to my Mom, to find out that the poor cat had been poisoned by some sick fuck, as the vet had found a significant amount of anti freeze in the cat’s blood and for there to be what they found, they believe the cat had been force fed the anti freeze.
What the fuck is wrong with some people?

Colleague phoned in sick this morning. Already one team member been off for two weeks and one on holiday. One team member is a new start so can’t really contribute anything just now. That leaves two of us doing any real work and checking the work of the newbie. Line manager is off on holiday as well. I need to go in early to make sure there’s cover for the phones.
So much for our Fair Friday. At least we have Monday off! |
