Club reviews and abuse

We went to a club recently and it was pretty shit, hence we posted a negative review. . Since then we've had a few abusive messages from people who like the club..
Does this usually happen?

Regulars can get a bit pissy when you criticise their club, I gather. One of the reasons I don't attend them! |

You can counter block them so they can't unblock you, send more msgs and then block you again. |

No you're terrible.
What people objected to was me mentioning in the review that when we turned down a guy whilst playing on public, he started threatening violence *. Apparently we shouldn't have been playing in public and not letting random blokes join in.
* he's obviously a Peterson fan who believes men settle disputes by violence. |

Your review is your own personal view so ignore the spoilt brats. Block and continue reviewing as you see fit.... I always welcome honest reviews when deciding on a new club |

We didn't exactly get abuse but when we mentioned we hadn't found a club very friendly all the regulars posted how wrong we were. Their messages weren't very friendly...oh the irony 
Sad you got abuse though. Just ignore 'em

If you're getting abuse, report it to Admin, let the abusers enjoy a ban.
If others don't agree with a review, they have the option of reporting that if they feel it's inaccurate. |

Frequently.
If post a negative review for a club it is always a good idea to hide your profile and change your filters so no-one can mail you for a few weeks. Club regulars can get very stroppy.
But report and block all who have given you abuse so that Admin can have a look. |

I've not experienced this but I did receive a personal message from a club owner after leaving a "disappointed" club review last weekend.
I can't share details obviously as it's against forum rules but it was along the lines of "what can we do to improve things?"
It was nice to see a club owner who wants to make visiting their premises a good experience for all guests. |

They are the crowd puller, I usually think they work for the clubs, they also post fabulous reviews and on the meet post thread, they are first one to say they are going to the party  |

We've written reviews for loads of clubs, mostly good but some are bad. We always try to present any criticism in a constructive way though and have so far not had any hassle over anything we've said.
