I get winked by people the other side of the country.We're not going to meet so why?
It just puts the onus on me to make first contact and if they're too far away, there's no point bothering to do that |

Winks are most likely to work for couples and solo females. Less likely to work for solo males. I'm a single female only looking for single males, and I still never look at my winks. |

Our relationship all started with a wink on here, so they absolutely can work. However if pepple wink us now and clearly havent read our profile, then we ignore them. We do prefer messages, but again, only from people who match what we are looking for.

Even though I have it typed out on my profile that a wink won't work without a message, I still get randoms blinking one eye at me.
