deep breath posting this (& hoping you'll be kind)....
what is it that attracts you to message a profile? Not sure that we're getting it right?....we are lovely yet chunky and assume this is putting people off?

A well written message is always better then a couple of words but for me and probably most people, Photos the description of the persons height, Body and what they have written on their profile is what counts |

Being totally honest OP - you have three meet veris in the past few weeks so your profile is obviously working as it stands 
For me though I'd look for positivity, a little about the person(s) and what they are looking for and would offer a potential playmate - ideally a reflection of their personality shining through and a selection of pics (of both people if a couple) that give an idea of their build - you both identify as 'large' currently but that is subjective and your one pic doesn't offer anyone viewing your profile the chance to decide for themselves - which I know sounds shallow but ultimately profile text and pics is all someone has to go on initially.
It's personal choice but personally I wouldn't include any comments like the "chunky" one as it could be taken negatively by some and as I said earlier if you have decent set of pics that show you off people can decide for themselves.

We like photos, preferably so you can see the body shape without the need for remote controls or fruit  . A nice detailed profile to read ( doesn’t have to be as ridiculously long as ours ). A sense of humour and a love of cake are also big plus points with us |

More than one pic may help, it’s not giving much away. I wouldn’t suggest face pics, u can always send one after a bit of a chat, but let the dog see the rabbit and all that |

I'd say it's the same with food; the first bite is with the eye. Getting to know someone's sense of humour and personality isn't instant, so entice them in with a few more pics!  |

Pictures are always the first thing I look at.
If its a couple I want to see both, clearly. If I'm considering playing then I want to know what someone looks like. |
