When I first joined FAB a few years back it seemed that the majority of people were real swingers. This was a site for meeting and making friends.
Now it feels it is just a place for people to just look. FAB doesn't really care since it's good for business.
I think a good clear out of non active and fake profiles are needed to keep this site a swingers site. |

Meh. People use the site as they see fit, people don’t take a test on joining and there’s no swinging code of conduct.
I don’t worry too much about what other users are doing, I tend to focus on my little square of fab and let others get on with theirs. |

Swingers swing. I'll be happy to volunteer to be called if I was I inactive and not meeting people but I do as my veris show. However the block list is limited so the people who are fake still show in local.
By inactive I mean not swingers. Just fantasists or people looking to have their pictures fabbed. POF has gone the same way which is why people are coming here I instead |

I am 100% in agreement , been on here for 7 years and it has gone down hill with fakes , spammers and prostitutes

Fab is not exclusively for Swingers. In fact I reckon fewer than 50% of the active membership are swingers... Most are here for casual hook-ups. As swingers we tend to be of the 'live and let live' opinion, those simply looking for hook-ups don't bother us, our method of meeting sorts them from the genuine swingers.
Perhaps Swingers needs to be dropped from the site name? Fab meets maybe? Either way, the site has grown and evolved over the last 11/12 years, changes in its membership are inevitable.
Enjoy it however you choose to use it. |

Agreed, things do naturally evolve and whilst I wouldn't consider myself a "swinger" fab does offer me the canvas to paint a happy lifestyle.
For me a swinger in my mind was always an old Couples game, predominantly in a caravan park lol
I don't consider myself a swinger as I don't have a partner (mrs) I'm just a single guy who enjoys anything other than monogamy I like the different experiences, meeting different people etc.
Maybe fab could have a "fab singles" page where we can stay out of your way and you ours  |

I don't worry about how others use the site. I'm here for myself. How others use it, is none of my business. Why not just focus on using it the way you enjoy and let others get on with it? It makes for a more fulfilling experience |

I can't answer for all swingers, but for us the people we play with tend to become longer term friends, we developed a relationship with them that is ongoing. Of course at clubs we also enjoy random one off meets but essentially we seek friendships that we can grow within.
Swinging for us is not just one Saturday night a month.... It's a lifestyle choice. We have friends who I've known some 15 years, we socialise as well as enjoy eachother sexually. |

Having a great volume of choice means increased potential for more people to use their heads, filtering for a good match. It means people can take a break and return as needed, without needing to create yet another profile.
Use search tools and good sense to work out who may be active and mutually matched. |

I'm going to run my profile the way I want to run it.
I'm going to let everyone else run their profiles the way they want to.
As long as Fab is happy that I'm not breaking any rules, anyone else who tells me how I should or shouldn't use the site can fuck off.
I know what there's too much of, too many self appointed policemen telling everybody else what to do.
