We've been lucky with the draw so far. Croatia will be a different test. Sterling shouldn't be on the pitch, in my opinion.
I think Croatia are beatable, but it'll be tough. This is the best chance England have had to win a World Cup in decades. It could be coming home. |

Personally I’m tired of reading that we haven’t played a decent team yet and all that... Columbia finished top of their group, Sweden are a well organised and good team that made it to the quarter finals. Neither were there by luck. We made Sweden look pedestrian.
Croatia are a good team and have made it to the semi finals of the World Cup...
Yes we’ve been ‘lucky’ but it’s about bloody time we get a bit of luck. Rather than pouring scorn or looking for the negatives let’s reflect that we’ve done far far better than anyone imagined or hoped we’d do 3 weeks ago. The squad is playing for each other, lets celebrate our team and cheer them on. |
