Well well, I had such a great time at sparkle, and earlier today I saw on stage the one and only Racheal(trans girl from the southwest uk), and she was really so made up at even getting 2nd or 3rd (heat has fried my brain). I think she's got guts to go and compete on stage. Really well done Racheal.

Don't know that, as only got to the awards. Best check on sparkle website.

This would be the Miss Sparkle competition. There is also an award for the slightly older ladies, Miss Golden Sparkle.

It's a while since I've seen the event so couldn't tell you what the precise selection criteria are, but this is basically the Miss World of the transgender community.

Very disappointed to have missed Sparkle this year, but over the moon that Racheal has done so well xx
