Good evening one and all,
Been having a little read through several personal statements, a little look see at some lovely literature, perusing a profile or two or as some may say... 'perving', haha.
I'm seeing more & more people requesting, some demanding, face pics with first contact "or else messages will be deleted".
Does anyone else find this off putting? I feel a face pic is earned after chatting awhile & building trust. The idea of firing of a face pic willy nilly without knowing who you're talking to seems odd. May as well have face pics on all our profile pics.
Opening the floor to debates.....

When we were meeting privately we had a polite request on our profile for face pics to be sent with first message if not visible on their profile. We put this statement there, not be unreasonable, but so that those who didn’t want to send face pics with first message didn’t waste their time messaging us. And it wasn’t like we were asking for something we weren’t prepared to do ourselves. We respect those who feel that face pics ‘need to be earned’, but equally we hope people will respect that we need to know what someone looks looking like in the first instance. At the end of the day one should focus on those those who share the same values and not waste time on someone who chooses to do things differently.
