A great rescue

I haven't seen much on this in the forum; but at around 14:00 hrs GMT today, the boys trapped in a cave in Thailand will begin their perilous journey/rescue.

They've had a crash course in diving/swimming, and need to extract before water levels rise.

A true example of human endeavour and bravery and I hope a real feel goid ending other than the sad loss of a diver.

I hadn't seen it on the news till Clem did a thread on it last week to say they'd been found.

Hope they get them all out safely. It said the rescue could take a couple of days. Horrible situation.

It’s amazing the preparation and stuff that has gone into the rescue

It’s sad that one rescuer already died but what a hero he was

I pray and hope they manage to get everyone out night such a scary time

I’m avoiding news on this until it’s over. I feel incredibly nervous and anxious about it when i hear updates.

I wish them all the luck in the world.

Hope it all goes well, I used to go caving when younger but the thought of cave diving used to scare the shi-ite out of me, prays go out to them.

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

The volunteers and military divers who have been working on this for days are genuinely amazing

Some achievement as it’s 2km and takes the divers 5 hours to navigate. Let’s hope they all get out safely.
