First things first.... Report the messages/profiles that you find abusive and block them.
If you are finding you are getting abuse because you have simply replied "thanks but no thanks" to someone that had messaged you because they are interested then it's best to block them right after you have messaged them.
We use the blocking tool a lot... I can't think for the life of me when we last had an abusive message |

A good way to cut down/out abusive messages....when u send a no thank u message also block the user. then they can't send u further messages.
had them myself, don't let the idiots get to u

the lifetime of communication with people who are 'less than desirable' is entirely up to you. If you choose not to answer, and delete such mails then they are effectively disconnected, and hopefully they will get the message and desist (once you decide to do that, just *dont* read the headers at all and get drawn in, just nuke on sight). If you block them, then that means you will never have the problem of having to endure such abuse ever again - and don't feel the least guilty about having to block anyone - it's your right

I'm not sensitive in any way but when I get one it takes the wind out of my sails a bit. It's not nice so don't think it's anything you've done. Report, report, report, then block. Maybe the meanies will think before doing it again if they get kicked off the site. |

Im not just saying its only men doing it, women can be the same for guys too I expect Also I dont get it that much but when the come into your mail box it can be upseting I always report and block instantly dont even bother replying to them |

Firstly the following comments are not aimed at the OP…. I’m just simply expressing a general opinion without wishing to sound unsympathetic or offensive to anyone,,,,,,
I find the idea of anyone allowing random individuals to negatively effect their enjoyment of site’s like this when receiving private message from them containing unpleasant comments frankly ridiculous….
It seems crazy remaining a member of sites like this without a clear understanding and acceptance of the good the bad and the ugly dynamic, which exists on all platforms of this nature…
The Internet is not a good place to hang out if your of a precious persuasions which allow keyboard trolls to get under your skin.
This excellent site provides all members with protective options to filter who can mail us,,, it also provides delete mail and block user facility's which are further backed-up with a first class report abuse option ……
We however must take responsibility to provide our own thick-skin coupled to a suitable sense of humour and an applied rationality to where we are.…….

I had abusive replies. Best to ignore and move on. Think of all the nice people you've met on here instead and imagine the fun you'll have with the ones you've yet to meet.
If the abuse is very extreme, I advise you to report it. Get them removed from here! no need for it! |

I have only had one off a man is was Because he was mailing and mailing asking to meet and i was not up for it ... and he was local and felt i was on this site and easy .. He said that too ... Report them to fab dont put up with there crap x |

we had them we blocked them and reported but they then got there friends to send 1 even used somebody else profile to continue the abuse . and they are all still on whats the point of reporting them nothing seems to be done about them |

So sorry to hear this, seems some men forget their manners when they get let loose on these sex sites, the stupid thing is it just puts some women off from staying on here long, and I cannot say I blame them. |
