Christmas time, Mistletoe and Wine
Children singing Christian rhyme
With logs on the fire and gifts on the tree
A time to rejoice in the good that we see
And so on ..........

Don’t forget to hide it as you leave the shop……OMG….
The humiliation of being seen carrying a copy of that Newspaper is just too much to bare….!.
I’d rather be caught with bit of clarty bog-paper hanging from my shoe ….yikes

We love Christmas and are like kids when it gets here, but decorations up the weekend before and down on thwelth night. That way it is always a great time and stays fresh.
Putting up decorations early devalues the Christmas excitement and kids became numb to it! The magic goes, before the event is even close...
There was a program on the BBC about obsessive behaviour and they included people who put their decorations up at the beginning of December. The Psychologist explained that most who do it are looking back to the fun they had as kids and trying to get away from “normal life.” Trying to find that elusive feel good factor, but it only works for around a week.
I wonder what she would have made of those who start Christmas in November!
And yes, I know... Each to their own! |

I am not sure on if I am going to put up a tree as I have not got the storage to keep it until next year.. I do love christmas though and can't wait to have kids as I think it will be lovely then.. Gets a bit boring when you are on your own. |
