I'm fortunate enough to have never had a no show.
I've been ghosted and cancelled on. But never arranged to meet someone and they've not turned up.

My preference is a hotel meet, I always arrange to meet at a hotel bar with an option to play but I never book it until we are both happy to play. Food for thought OP  |

Not had one yet but then I always take my time getting to know people via messaging and building a level of "comfort" that they actually want to meet before I arrange to do so - usually over a period of weeks/months - if they're still interested in meeting me after that then I'm pretty sure they're going to show up  |
