Oh yes it's heaven. Either well fried so it has crisply edges or added to mash potatoes. Or as a pork and apple stack. Infact that's inspired my next menu idea - yum! |

I tried it for the first time when it was served as part of a full Scottish breakfast at a hotel I stayed in.
Was still hungry and it was the last thing left, so I ate it....
It was yummy. Not sure I'd actively eat it again despite being yummy but it was ever the last thing to eat and I was hungry then yup. |

Black Pudding-yup
White Pudding-yup
and Hogs Pudding-yup... A west country delicacy (for those that dont know) it comprises pork meat and fat, suet, bread, and oatmeal or pearl barley formed into the shape of a large sausage is very similar to a white pudding and is bloody gorgeous |

"Blood, belly fat or suet, salt, pepper, herbs, oatmeal/barley.
Nothing bad there, actually very good for you.
https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/howto/guide/all-you-need-know-about-black-pudding" That's what they tell you goes in it. All that does indeed go in it , but that's not all . Since manufacturers have had to adhere to new waste guidelines , stuff like Black Pudding now gets bulked out with all manner of unmentionables. Admittedly none of it will kill you but I'd still rather not all the same . |

If people don't check the ingredients list on a product then it's their own fault.
Mr GR used to be in catering for a few years before swapping for retail, he's pretty picky about where he'll eat (and what he'll eat).
