Switched energy suppliers but got diddled out of £50 carrot flr switching due to code i had to enter.

(if your thinking of switching mail me and I'll send code so you get £50 off..)

Fed up of getting the crap end of the stick

Anyone else feel ripped off?

You can't write "£50 quid" it sounds weird in my head. 50 quid is fine or £50.

How did they diddle you? If you phoned them would they apply the code retrospectively?

That reminds me I have to ring a company who didn't didn't apply a discount code to one of my orders.

I had a man come round from utility warehouse to see if i could save any money by switching suppliers

Turned out everything I'm paying was cheaper than what he was offering

Plus, you can't retrospective ly use it.. Carrot dangling buggers! I hate these gimmicks to drag you in.

You should have a cooling off period so just cancel it all. Then start again with them but submit the code right this time.

I understand. I have the same problem with the supplier I'm going to contact today. It should be applied without you having to do anything in my opinion. Ring em and give em hell. that's what I'm going to do.

Tried to use a parking meter in Hove last night. Next to impossible......

It sometimes isn't clear. I read everything on the email that was sent toe, including all the boring bits at the bottom with asterisks and the discount hasn't been applied.

Oh instructions are a whole different kettle of cucumbers. Never read them. Swearing and trial band error are far superior methods.

Yeah do this OP. I hate missing stuff like that too. I usually buy things then a week later they go on sale!
