I'd be happy that I'd probably heard the last of the '66 boring rhetoric - but concerned for the next 50 years of total bs

I recon they would have to make the following day a bank holiday as there would be a lot of people who wouldn't make it into work

If England win the World Cup

The skies shall rain lager as the air is filled with a thousand voices singing in unison, tears will be shed and hugs embraced.

I’ll probably order another Guinness whilst all that’s kicking off

It would be just lovely to know we finally lived up to what we already knew that we could win it

Plus will finally put to bed the 66 label that has dogged us through history and we will hopefully be able to move on and make new chapter in British football

"It will bring a lovely atmosphere to the country if we do"

A much needed feel good factor.

If I heard it on the news I'd say nice one and then carry on with my day. Not a football fan plus I'm Welsh.

Memory like an elephant here where free beer is concerned.

That is a good shout, the Prime Minister of a neighbouring country to where I'm from do that almost every time their nation wins the Hong Kong 7s
