Do you ever daydream about other worlds?
You know, like I lie down on my bed and look up at the ceiling and there’s a rhombus of sunlight reflecting off the window, bright and glinting immediately above my head. As I look at it and the intensity of the light, I suddenly start imagining as if it’s a portal somewhere else. As if one could go through it and be elsewhere, and what that place might be like. And then I realise that I’ve been staring at this sunlight on the ceiling for longer than I thought, and in my head I have ideas for a book.
Just me? Or do you really daydream? |

"I have some pretty lucid dreams, can never fully recall them though
I think daydreaming's a sign of an active mind "
I’ve been told I have “a rich interior landscape”, I love to daydream. Maybe I should actually write something, I draw as it’s quicker and I can find words tricky, being able to express exactly what I’m feeling in words and language is very hard I’ve decided. |

"Oh no, I daydream a lot.
But not about other worlds, about what most men daydream about
What’s that then?
About naked / lingerie clad ladies "
Aha! I’m naked right now. It’s hot, and I wanted to lie down with the fan on me! |

"As a child I did this a lot. I loved other world films and fantasy books, but I grew out of it when I had my family. "
Are you telling me to grow up?! |

Have been doing that most evenings this week, and this morning. It's when I do most of my day dreaming, well fantasizing |

You should write, even if it's just a stream of conscious. Try not to over think what you write and let it just flow out |

"I just daydream about my life falling into place one day, but like the hour glass, time is running out .... "
I think daydreaming is part of the mental processing to help us accomplish things, so you may find it’s not wasted time but actually helping you achieve! |

Seems alot more plausible than there just being one universe. If there are infinite possibilities, then there are infinite universes, infinite worlds and everything is possible, a monkey types the works and Shakespeare and even this reality and lifetime repeats itself an infinite number of times. You just need a compass and a subtle knife to cut through to the another universe simples |

"I can actually lose whole periods of time daydreaming. Drifting off who knows where
It’s rather glorious. "
When I hear a calm sea I often drift off to a holiday years ago and I remember laying on the sun lounger (that in itself is unusual) and I can hear the sea but I can feel the warmth as well. It’s difficult to explain but it’s a warm memory that makes me think about the sea, the clouds, the sky. It’s like it’s daydreaming prompted by a memory, which is prompted by a sound or smell etc. I’ll be quiet now |

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. A Ford Capri on fire off the hard shoulder of the North Circular. I watched fairy lights glitter in the dark near the Bishopsgate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. |
