We had a short break in Chester and last week went camping in Dorset, with the obligatory day of naked sunbathing at studland.
Had been planning a week in the Lake District in September too but that may have to be cancelled because of our cat’s health. She’s just been diagnosed with insulin dependent diabetes and our plans will depend on whether her condition is stable enough to rely on a pet sitter coming in twice a day to inject her. |

I'm not going to go on holiday this year.However I've been to Thailand 5 times in the last 4 years and I can one million percent recommend it,especially Phuket. Trouble is,it takes so flippin' long to get there and I'm a bit fed up with the whole rigmarole of flying.
So,I moved to somewhere that has it all,in my opinion. Sun,sea,bars,clubs,countryside not far away and the big city even closer. So,I never have need to go on holiday ever again,,,,also not far from the airports in case I change my mind and decide to jet off to Thailand again. (which is sounding tempting now I think about it  ). |

no holiday away this year but I might book a few days away in a cottage in Snowdonia or on the LLeyn peninsula ….I love having such beautiful places practically on my doorstep |

I went to Snowdonia a few years back, it was lovely apart from my satnav's habit of sending me down farm roads |

Camping near Lulworth Cove for a few days, touring the North Coast of Scotland and the Isle of Bute, then a few days in Paignton and then a week in Italy; although I haven't booked yet, looking to go to the Lake Como area. |

We have been to Dorset for Easter and are off to Benalmadena, Spain in 4 weeks, will probably get a long weekend to Jersey later in the year depending on the London Irish fixtures and we are going to North Yorkshire visiting family end of August |
