In my youth I used to swear by an album called Day After Day by Ballroom, who I presume didn’t survive much longer than that album. These days I’m more likely to go for something like The xx. Either that, or something sensual like Paul McCartney’s Frog Chorus, or Timmy Mallet’s superlative cover version of Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini... |
