Which underwear for blokes?

Back in the 1980s it was easy, once Nick Kamen got undressed in the laundrette for that Levi’s advert we all knew it was boxer shorts.
But nowadays what’s the best choice for when you subtly pull your trousers down on a meet and don’t want her to collapse, laughing and pointing at your undies?
Peter Stringfellow has died so I think the leopard print thong has died with him, are jockey shorts ok? I know there are some who choose Y fronts as a post-post modern ironic underwear, but you’re only fooling yourself because you look a twat.
Obviously none of this matters if you’re toned and chiselled because you look good wearing anything, but what about those of us who need more help?
I throw the question out to the mixed bag of talent that is Fab |

I usually wear hipsters of some description. Styles and sizes of these seem to differ quite a bit between manufacturers though, so finding a style and fit I'm totally happy with can be quite tricky.
I like them quite tight and tiny if possible but obviously not too restricting around the old knackers |

Black or white, and nice and tight. I prefer boxers, or commando. Y-fronts are not going to do it for me. Neither are comedy boxers.
A little bit of the boxer waistband showing about your jeans if you accidentally lift your tshirt up a bit

Can't go wrong with well fitting black boxers.
And tbh if I'm meeting someone and we're at the stage of getting down to it, they won't be staying on long enough to be admired anyway. |

Yes. I have a pair of Vivienne Westwood ones that only use in special occasions. |

Ditch synthetic, especially in hot weather, as they'll just give a less well ventilated and moister environment.
Select for your physique and your tastes, not to please others. Notice what guys wear in locker rooms too, to get some ideas.
Contemporary popular styles are shorter leg, body form hugging boxers - but if they don't show your shape is good effect, try different types. |
