Just a thought. Are policemen not bound by the rules of maintaining a public and professional image ? Just curious as you display your face photo, and declare your profession  |

We aren't in my profession. I would be removed from my professional register. We have to maintain a public and private image  |

You do seem to love advertising this. Can you prove you're in the job? I doubt it very much given your approach!
As for uniforms, some do some don't. Take clothes off and everyone's an individual? Makes no difference. I doubt you'll progress far in your career! |

By advertising you are a bobby, putting your face on here so are easily identifiable could easily be construed as bring the force in to disrepute. Yes you entitled to a private life but you are bringing the force into that private life by advertising you are a bobby. Hide your face immediately if you know what’s good for you. |

It's okay - It's not his face haha. Two of his photos showed up on a Google image search a few weeks ago - He was called out on the thread by a few of us. He has removed one now. Weirdly the one he still has, is not showing up now. The guy just keeps posting the same shite. |

I have no attraction to uniforms, probably because I've worked in a uniformed service for nearly 25 years. I do cringe a little when I see people post pics of themselves on here with face clearly visable in uniform, just not something I think is a professional thing to do but that's their choice.
What someone does for a living is really no concern of mine for a meet and I've had several people lie and say they are in a certain emergency service not realising I am too so when chatting, they're easily found out!
I've also had a policman say when I stipulated a social meet in a public place that he was obviously trustworthy enough for me to invite him around my house being that he was the law blah blah blah to which I pointed out that Denis Nielsen was a copper too and look what he got up to in his flat!!!! |

I used to be hugely attracted to soldiers... They seemed to have an air about them, a sense of duty, a dry dark sense of humour that I like. I guess it could be traced back to the dream of a brave knight on a white horse type of scenario. |
