Currently listening to this and I'm disputing the title as lots of great bands aren't on there is ,iron maiden ,guns and roses,led Zeppelin etc etc, so thought let's make our own greatest rock album so suggest a song and artist ,so here goes I'll kick off with a few and you can add your choices,

your both right but when u see some of the bands that didn't make it and the ones that did would understand IE Captain braveheart& his magic band ,the boxtops,Albert Hammond,the only ones,lit,the Jeff Healey band to name a few obscure ones you wonder who will make the best rock album II lol |

Motorhead...ace of spades
Black Sabbath...paranoid
Lynyrd Skynyrd...sweet home alabama
Led Zeppelin..stairway to heaven
Are just some examples of the obvious and unimaginative choices that I imagine would make it.
It would be good if they had some less obvious ones from the usual suspect bands.
I suggest
Deep Purple....lazy (made in Japan)
Queen....hammer to fall ( live at Wembley)
Motorhead....overkill (no sleep till Hammersmith)
Black Sabbath...neon knights (Dio not Ozzy.. shock horror)
Lynyrd Skynyrd...call me the breeze (one more from the road)
Led Zeppelin...Kashmir.
Of course, She Sells Sanctuary just has to be on it...twice maybe.
