Warm weather driving

With the warm weather here for a bit, please PLEASE be a little more patient whilst driving!

We are (mostly) all very hot, agitated by traffic and want to get to our destinations.... but not at the risk of dangerous driving and causing accidents.

There has been some horrendous accidents over the last few days, people losing their lives just because someone didn't want to wait a few seconds longer to make sure their next monuvere will be safe.

If in doubt, check again.... look in your mirrors, don't pull out until safe, and watch for bikes too.

Have a happy and safe drive everyone

How do you know what caused the many accidents? How do you know people are agitated because of the warm weather?

It's a general statement that people get more agitated whilst sitting in a hot car, thus losing concentration and making silly mistakes that can be fatal.

Also the sun can cause momentary blindness, not seeing that bike or that pedestrian crossing the road.

Yes there are pricks driving most days... but the warm weather brings out the bikes, and children visiting the seaside resorts.

I must be weird then as I love driving in the nice weather....although I did more sitting listening to music and talking to the people walking up and down the motorway rather than driving last week when sitting waiting for 6 hours for the clean up further up the motorway after a multi car crash, not a seaside in site though

I was at the start, then got to the service station after it started moving which had a huge queue to go in so I carried on another hour home...by the time I got home I didn't want one...very odd

Yes, but it is the people we can do without on our roads. So go on press that accelerator people, feel the speed.

It's not always the hot weather to blame. Some people drive like prats all year round.
