The US has an agreement with the UK whereby a full and valid UK driver's licence permits vehicle rental in the States, you will have to have held your licence for over a year. |

I travel a lot and the only place I have difficulty renting a car is here at home. It's something to do with having to call the DVLA to check endorsements. I jokingly offered my Saudi license last time and the clerk accepted it with relief. You can't make this shit up. |
