"Oh. I thought this was about drinks! "
But since its not I'd recommend Santa Clarita diet with drew Barrymore in it. There's another one too but I can't think what it's called...it'll come back to me eventually... |

Depends what sort of thing you like OP but can recommend the following if you've not seen them:
Outlander - time travel meets Scottish highlanders around the time of the Jacobite revolution (great sex scenes too)
11.22.63 - based on a Stephen King novel - time travel related again but this 9ne about a guy trying to prevent the JFK assassination
Vikings - Errr about Vikings!!
Sons Of Anarchy - just started watching this but worth a watch based on what we've seen so far |

Idris Elba, oh yes he's in The Avengers films and Thor. Good shout I'll add this to my list.
I liked The blacklist if it's like that then I'm sure I'll like it.

Oh yes Outlander is very good. I'm up to date with this.
Hmm 11.22.63 sounds interesting and I like Stephen king's stuff.
Sons of anarchy, I've tried to get into it before...I might give it another try.
Vikings, was superb!
Thanks Gemini |

Oh another couple if you've not seen:
Boardwalk Empire - Gangster themed around the time of prohibition
Line Of Duty - possibly the best police procedural ever made
The Fall - Belfast based serial killer thing
Luther - Idris Elba doing what he does best
In The Long Run - Idris Elba (again) comedy/drama about his early life in London |

"Currently rewatching Inside No.9 so I'd definitely recommend that. "
Found it very hit and miss to be honest - for every excellent episode (like the train one or the hotel) there were several that were pretty poor |

If you're into foreign dramas then I'd recommend the original Danish version of The Killing. And if you like that then you'll probably love the Danish/Swedish crime drama The Bridge. All four series of which are the bees knees. Loved another Swedish drama Jordskott as well. In fact if you love foreign dramas then there's been a load of great one's to choose from in recent years.
My all-time favourite series though would be season one of True Detective. I can't recommend it highly enough.
And if you like prison dramas then you might like Prison Break, which I seriously enjoyed. |

So many good suggestions above that we'd agree above but currently excited that Preacher has started again, series 3. Going to catch up tonight once L gets back. Can't wait to see how they deal with some of the stuff that has to happen!
Also hoping Tick will be back on soon for some light relief and nostalgia. |

The Wire is incredible. The best way it was ever described was that it’s more like a novel. Each season tells the story meticulously, where other procedural would have it done and dusted in an hour.
Line of Dury mentioned already is incredible - think the series with Keeley Hawed was my favourite but it’s all brilliant.
A couple of my favourites on Netflix are Love (the main guy in it can be a bit annoying sometimes but the girl who plays Mickey is stunningly good in it) and Master of None with Aziz Ansari from Parks and Recreation (also great).
Best British comedy I’ve seen in ages was Fleabag - absolutely hilarious! |
