Hi,

i've had issues with my phone for a while - samsung galaxy note 4 and really should of got a new one.

This morning its totally died, is there any way to retrieve data/contacts/photos from a phone that wont even turn on ?

any help much appreciated

Yes, you can retrieve data from a dead phone but you need an expert to do it for you and then you can transfer it to your new phone.

Btw get the OnePlus 6 this time and thank me everyday

Yup. A new battery is your first thing. Usually sorts things and isn't expensive.

Have you tried a soft reset first ?

If that doesn't work try connecting it up to your computer with a USB cable and see if your computer can see the phone and turn it on.

Check the Google account you set up for the tablet. You might have selected back up data when you first set it up. Worth a look

Thanks for the advice. Phone in shop to see if they can retrieve the data. Bought a new phone now.

One thing im a little concerned about is my one of my internet tabs is fab and the site is password remembered

are phone shop staff prone to snoop on phones they're repairing?
