I have literally no idea if size twelve is big, small or usual for women of that weight. Women's clothes is a world of number confusion and potential insults. Avoid. |

"prey tell how women can avoid dress sizes"
1. Become a hermit.
2. Dress butch.
3. Invent a time machine, travel back to achaemenid times, get to Themyscira, live as an Amazon warrier.
Hope one of those helps. |

Well its the BBWs who label themselves as that, so no problem eh? "
But they define their own boundaries. Why should they be defined by someone else's boundaries, or should I say labels? |

I'm a fat size 22, no idea what I weigh as I don't own scales, but if you refer to me as a BBW in my earshot you had better have your running shoes on as I'm coming to suffocate you!
I cannot bare the term.
It's patronising, just don't do it. |

"Size 16 upwards
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a definite answer
Says who?
And why?
And what's the scientific back up?
"
Size 16... Really?
I'd also add then, if we're going by clothes size, to take height into account.
A size 16, 6' woman is not going to look like a size 16, 5'2" woman |

I have no idea either! There's no way to avoid size labels but it doesn't matter as they're all different in each shop anyway. So you're exactly right. |

They say around 200lb, but I think it also depends on height too. Height to weight ratio means that taller women will be heavier at their ideal weight |

Trust me, either description will be used to describe,or should I say, label you eventually. Hope you loosen up when you get labelled.

"I was always told 12-16 curvy 16+ bbw xx"
I'm 14-16 but have small titties so I don't class myself as curvy, I wish I was tho! Instead I'm just a pear
It's so hard deciding, what one person sees as a BBW another doesn't! I think as long as our profile pics are relevant to our size/shape right now then our fellow fabbers can decide whether we're their cuppa tea or not x |

I have zero clue. Erm, when you feel you’re big, you’re beautiful and you’re a woman?
This is such a bizarre conversation! I was 22 stone and a size 22-24 when I first joined the site and I’m now 13 stone 11 and a size 16-18 depending on the store. I have no clue if I ever was a BBW, or still am or what...I’m me. As to when I downgrade from ample to curvy...I set that arbitrarily at size 14. Fuck knows why.
I find that guys who use the BBW label tend to be those that fetishise the weight and that’s never been my thing. |
