I'll be turning 50 in Spring and i don't give a pig's fart. I'm determined to grow old disgracefully.
So here's an opportunity to reminisce over your childhood. What is the earliest childrens television you remember enjoying? For me it was Bagpuss and The Clangers. |

Is it true that The Magic Roundabout was originally French and that the English narrator didn't bother with translation and made up the stories based solely on the pictures? |

We didn't but even now I'm amazed how often London /home counties accents are still described as 'posh' by some Northerners! |

"Think the Woodentops was on on Friday?
We never had colour tv til 1976 so they were all in black and white.
Blue Peter and Chritopher Trace too. "
Valerie Singleton, John Noakes and Peter Purves were 'my' Blue Peter team. Plus Petra the dog and Jason the cat |

I'll be 4O soonish, and I do give a swines pump.
I can remember watching The Dukes of Hazzard. I knew if I got to watch it from the very start, I'd be guaranteed to see the opening credits. And see Catherine Bach in her red bikini. |
