Yes I,ve heard about them, the closest was when in the lake district around may time they had,nt quite arrived in numbers but my dad sampled a few bites even then I kept away from the tree cover after that around the lakes edge, to have mozzies that long into late september is along time, usually for us down here along water bodys we get blue and green bottles (flys) and annoying wasps mainly to mozzies but you could fall foul of them I,m sure somewhere where tree cover prevails. |
