What performances on TV and Film sent shivers down your spine and fearful for the other characters whenever things start to get real?
For TV, it would have to be Maya Sharma from Coronation Street back in 2004. This character is all kinds of crazy but also very unhinged. Sasha Behar did a brilliant job in making this character a pretty scary one. Her performance really made me feel scared for the Dev and Sunita when she planned on killing them both.

For film, it has to be Annie Wilkes from Misery. Much like Maya, she is also all kinds of crazy. Kathy Bates did a brilliant job at making her very unsettling when she keeps her favourite author to Paul Sheldon captive in her home while confessing to be his "Number 1 fan". Her constant changes from being nice and caring to over the top psychotic is pretty scary as anything could set her off at any time. Who can forget the terrifying hobbling scene?
Don't worry, this clip won't show that scene but it will show Kate's COCKADOODIE performance.

Ive witnessed real life psycho scary so most of what i see on tv or film doesnt really affect me too deeply... cant honestly think of any performance that made me hide behind my cushion.. |

TV - not a lot to choose from in my viewing experience but Tuco Salamanca from Breaking Bad was just a bit scary!
Film - no contest on this one. Ben Kingsley as Don Logan in Sexy Beast. You wouldn't want Don in your nightmares. |
