Not sure about that - my defence was i had actually paid the toll fees, albeit slightly late based in unfamiliarity with the system.
Maybe say your car was stolen and returned the next day?! |

It’s a tough one. Where abouts was it? Because I know some of them are no longer in use like the one that goes by salford royal. But it all depends on what time you were caught too as the councils in and around Manchester don’t put signs up half as often as they should by law and the road markings are often faded. That being said I’d probably argue there was a bit pothole that you had to swerve to avoid. I mean it is Manchester so they may quash it because they get enough stick about potholes as it is, and it’s totally plausible that one of the above was the reason. |

Yes...I think I will...apparently that area is notoriously bad for motorists, particularly ones who don't know the area!! |
