Have I just been had? Please read

I would like to begin by saying I've never been naive enough to be cuaght for money before but i think it has just happened to me on this site and I'm sure I'm not the only male as others signed up to.
There was a couple last weekend advertising a gangbang of 3 women and up to 6 males in the Ramada in Solihull for this weekend both Friday and Saturday night. They were verified by 4 people on the site, admittedly I did not check those people out.
Stupidly i did not write down their user name so i cant even check that, im usually way more clever and smart about things like this.
All seemed legit and they asked for a deposit of £40 upfront which is fair enough as i know there can be a lot of time wasters, so i paid the deposit and they took my number and said they would be in contact through Whatsapp on Thursday(you know whats coming right)
Today is Thursday and no message and I went into my messages on this site and all messages are gone from this couple, I didn't know that was a possibility to erase messages from here.I thought you could see them but the deleted beside them?
Is there any way of tracing these people/person?

If they've blocked you then the messages disappear, same as if they leave the site. Without a username not a lit you can do to check which it is.
Put it down to experience and move on. |

Sounds like they deleted their account. Not much you can do if their messages have gone from your inbox. Depending on how you sent the money you could contact the police- if you have their bank account or paypal details they might be able to help.
Lesson learned. Don't feel any worse than you do already. At least it wasn't more money. |

You are real men... Hats off for putting this out in public, not may would do.
If they have deleted their profile then all the messages will be gone. I am sure they will create the new profile soon, with similar game, and they may even approach you, so wait for you turn....
Try speaking with admin, to see any way to track them.

The money is gone, they have gone, move on. £40 isn’t that much (if you can afford just to put down a deposit like that anyway lol).
Chalk it up to experience, you know the signs now and if that’s the kind of thing you want try a club, money for entry of course and you don’t know if it will happen but at least you’ve paid money for something that you’ve physically seen.
I know it sucks (well in your case not) but you’ve learned from it.

But OP what amount would the 'con' have caused you to think more? Would it be £50, £100 or more? I am genuinely interested. I just don't understand how you were thinking at the time as making the bank transfer, you definitely need a complete head wobble  |

the con artists were verified by several others. It wasn't stupidity. |

Sounds like they were removed by admin, probably got reported for asking for money. A deleted profile mostly the messages stay and say unlos.All you can do is chalk it down to experience, move on and next time anyone asks you for money, report them x |

Not that I have much of a defence, yes I know it was stupid but it's not uncommon to see ganbangs advertised and to be held in a hotel suite, and it's not uncommon for all males attending to be asked to contribute to the cost of a hotel suite which i think is only fair.
I done a small amount of research into before transfering money across eg. I checked they had verifications so I had no reasons and there was no signs to believe this wasn't legit |

Ok ..... this guy is new and seems like a nice guy....
I call this the paying your dues stage of swinging... we all have to go through this at the beginning but all the bad encounters we have then ... turn into great stories later in life...
To make you not feel bad Op .. this happened to me on my second ever meet ,1 month into swinging...
Met this girl for a drink at a posh hotel Bar in Manhattan.... she insisted on a social first due to safety... no problem....
She had modeling pics on her profile , showed up looking super skinny with lots of makeup...we have a drink, start flirty and touching. Things are going great , I’m definitely getting sex....
Then She ask me to buy her a pack of cigarettes, because she wanted to smoke. I said no problem we can get some on the way to my apartment.... she says no no . I’m not ready yet , I want to drink more. Give me the money I’ll go and get them. Not wanting to seem pushy and seeing I still had a bar tab open , I said ok.
I only had 100’s in my money clip. So I handed her a 100 bill and went back to the bar... that was the last time I saw her....
Moral of the story.... I never open bar tabs when meeting anyone for sex nor buy them cigarettes... |
