I've often wondered why I don't see them parked outside or near to schools, children's play areas..in the 20 mph zones..
As a father I'd rather see them in areas that are more likely to have children playing or other reasons for a reduced speed limit than on the side of dual carriageway s.
As a motorist I could and wohld argue with anyone who said they're just cash cows if they we're in those areas..  |

I got pulled over by the police coming out of a supermarket car park without my headlights on at dusk. After asking for my details and a bit of an argument he made the excuse that d*unks usually forget to turn them on. I asked him why he didn't sit outside a pubs.. he had no answer. |

Less chance for revenue at those places, much better to pick a fast bit of road with a ridiculously low speed limit and somewhere for the camera to hide.It makes a much better revenue gathering opportunity.

Because they can't make any money outside a school. It's about as simple as that.
Catch 10 cars outside a school, or catch 1000 cars on the overpass of a motorway. |

They can be a pain in the ass trying to keep this clean  I was going 59 in a 60 zone. I saw the sign saying 40 I slowed down.but just beside the sign a guy standing with camera. Got me at 51 . 3 points.that was 7 years ago.i was not happy  |
