Are people actually proud to say that there from London?
Only asking because meet loads of southerners recently whilst on me hols that seemed embarrassed and ashamed to be associated with the place. " I'm from outside London, dont live there". Mmmm ok  |

Less embarrassing than most other places in the UK. My mum was a proper cockney born within the sounds of the bells. I was born down south too but Hertfordshire. |

I think that's because more amd more people are moving out if central London into the surounding counties because it's so much cheaper.
I tell people u live near London because most people say where in I name the town |
