"Are you talking about England v Australia in the 3rd ODI at Trent Bridge?
If so, no I'm not going, and I think we'll win again "
Yes managed to nab a free ticket yesterday bonus |

Nice one I know Nottm is only just down the road from me, but as much as I like ma cricket, it's something I can ill afford at the moment, so it's the highlights on Ch 5 at 00:30 for me I'm afraid |

"Not likely, but enjoy the cricket. England are on the crest of a wave in white ball formats at the moment. "
I still don't think they have the best seamer they could pick.
Not that I have any suggestions who to replace with who. |

Things are much simpler when Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes are fit. |

I know England are ranked No1 but I don't take THAT much notice of rankings.
I can't argue with the batters, all the way down. Blessed with keepers. I think England are probably the best in this department and I love what England have done to ODI totals. 350 is often the target now.
We get to see nearly 700 runs in one day with inventive shots. It's superb.
You make a great point about Stokes and Woakes. Perhaps it's that simple.
Also don't get carried away with this current Aussie team playing here in not boiling conditions. They ain't that strong at the moment. |

And they're missing their 12th man, the pocket full of p180 grit |

We have had it well for so long with Broad and Anderson. Our test team will look so different without them two. |

Haha rub it in. It's enough to bring tears to your eyes.
I've always hated Warner and Smith. Probably because they are so good but I just have the feeling they are shit humans. |

"England to bat first.
Schwwiiiiing. It's cloudy, it's Trent bridge, it's going to hoop around corners.
No it's not. Well if it is it hasn't troubled England as I had predicted"
That and the top order are just flying high at the moment. |

Imagine the opposition.
Knock the openers off, send the next few back the shed and it's ours boys.
England 100-4 off 14 overs.
That's nothing, Butler, Moeen, Stokes, Woakes.
This batting team is even better than India's.
It's the best I have ever seen it in regards to batters. Not just names and strike rates, how and where they hit the ball.
Yeah fuck bowling at that lot, no thanks.
my arm is a bit sore, best I sit this one out skip

It's astonishing viewing. The power and angles that they're creating from bowling that ain't that quick or well directed.
Both the hub' and I are just sat open mouthed at the shot making. |

We need to take out insurance just to go and watch the game these days. Not even safe 20 rows back.
Good job they changed to X2 balls per innings or they'd have to change it every 20 overs anyway |

"Just got in and seen the score.
Fucking hells bells. That's millions, almost
It's absolutely bonkers, crowd booing in jest cos we wanted 500 "
They should use this team (swap broad and Anderson in) and mentality in test matches and see what they can do |

Just back in the car and on our way home, what a match to choose to attend.
Records tumbling, and it's always a pleasure to watch Australia get hammered at any sport. |

Just watched the highlights on catch up.
Well done C5 on getting all that into less than an hour.
I've never seen such violent hitting, Aus hit a few big ones too.
I thought Aus took some really good catches, they were coming down with ice on them.
England backed that up with great catches too.
I thought England's spin twins were superb as well.
I loved seeing how happy England were.
The best batting performance I've ever seen. Not sure on ticket prices but if you like cricket that would of been excellent value for money.
England are quite rightly ranked No1.
This time last week Aus were on about how they were going to sledge. I bet they rightly said fuck all. |
