I’m a bit like marmite on the forum . Kind of weird really as everyone we meet I seem to get along with really well . Male , female , TVs and all ages seem equally as happy with how I come across .
There’s a few on the forums who I really don’t gel with , and probably never will . I guess the saying you can’t please all the people all the time comes to mind . |

There’s a few on the forums who I really don’t gel with , and probably never will . I guess the saying you can’t please all the people all the time comes to mind ."
For what it's worth you guys are valued forumites who I don't always agree with but respect greatly because you're clear and non-judgemental in your views and always provide your own justification for them rather than just expecting people to accept them |

Well it’s actually worth quite a lot , and I thank you for your kind words . I’ve never gone along with the whole thing that so many say about how it doesn’t matter what people say on here as they are just faceless people behind a screen . What people think does matter in the grand scheme of things to me . |

Of course it matters - anyone who says they don't care what people think of them is either a liar or deluded. It matters even more on a site like this where people make decisions about meeting based on how you come across - which is why it always makes me laugh when people post threads moaning about not being able to get meets - because the very fact they are moaning about it is obviously going to put a lot of people off even further.
But I'm getting away from the point - keep doing what you do it's always appreciated here |

It grinds my gears when people say "it's just words on a screen".
Words are the most powerful tool we have.
They can be used to lift, support, empathise, sympathise, educate, console, to show compassion, love and a million other emotions.
And yet....... we frequently use them so poorly. |
