What do you talk about on meets?

Assuming it's someone new that you've never met before. (It's different with friends.)

What do you talk about? What kind of questions would you ask them? What questions don't you like being asked?

I dont meet anyone i haven't messaged on here and/or spoken on the phone to for at least a couple of weeks, so there are already things we have chatted about... once we meet its just a follow up of the basic info given...

Im also quite good at waffling on about nothing in particular

Anything and everything, I have no boundaries.

It's interesting as to how random a conversation can become when meeting someone new.

Or how eerily you have a lot in common despite having never talked about anything in detail before

My first meet we talked about the Euro 2016 game that was on TV.

Ended up agreeing that for each corner our retrospective teams had, we got to spank the other one five times...

Ended up with a VERY red arse!

Wouldn't happen for me, in the rare times im intrigued enough by someone to want to meet them we would have had chats and banter first and then progressed to a social. If things didn't naturally flow on a social then it wouldnt get passed that point anyway.

I can barely remember what we talked about on most of mine as I have terrible memory recall.

A couple that stick in my mind were because we had a drink or chat in a hotel lounge before the sex.

One of them we talked about a zombie apocalypse and water treatment plants. The other we talked about Chelsea playing at home that day and Universities.

I usually ask questions based on what they talk to me about.

Somewhere nearby

I usually have spent quite a lot of time messaging and or/chatting before a meet so the conversation usually flows quite well from that.

That said I had a meet recently with someone I’d only really been chatting to for about 24 hours or so. I was a bit nervous that it might be awkward, but the chat flowed very naturally.

What not to talk about on a meet. Part 1 By Seduced.

I've put together this list based on first hand experience(s).

1. Lord of the Rings.

No one wants to know your thoughts on Middle Earth or why Tom Bombadil did not appear in the movies. They certainly don't want to hear about it for two hours.

2. The Hobbit

Similarly, who even likes Martin Freeman?

3. Don't call your meet a 'crackhead!' If this happens inadvertently (as it did to me) don't dig a hole by trying to explain (lie) that it's a term of endearment in Birmingham.

4. Don't tell your subsequent meet about that time you got blocked for calling the last meet a 'crackhead!'

5. Whilst not strictly about 'what not to talk about,' NEVER pair your phone to their sound system without their knowledge and insist that James's Laid is the greatest song ever. Also do not dance and sing along.

Slough Windsor ish

We probably wont have exchanged that many messages here but thats no problem as I can chat for England and find it more effective getting to know somebody face to face.

We usually just talk about random things, maybe a bit about Fab, how often they have been to the club, is there anywhere hey recommend etc.

I met one guy for a coffee in Costa who proceeded to speak very loudly about anal sex and how much fun I was missing out on. Unfortunately I had left my hair straighteners on and had to go home and unplug them

He messaged later to appologise for being so crude in public and he immediately knew the straighteners thing was my get out excuse and why Id used it.

"We probably wont have exchanged that many messages here but thats no problem as I can chat for England and find it more effective getting to know somebody face to face.

He messaged later to appologise for being so crude in public and he immediately knew the straighteners thing was my get out excuse and why Id used it."

Did you ever meet him again?

Northampton Somewhere

"All sorts. Their weekend, holiday plans, fab stuff.

If they start asking sexual questions I'm likely to remember I have an appointment to get to. Especially if we haven't been chatting much on here.

I met a guy once, I arrived first. He came over after getting a drink, sat down, introduced himself and literally said 'sooo, do you like anal sex?' I was quite new and pretty shocked tbh. I burnt my tongue on my coffee then went off to my appointment!! That nearly put me off guys on here.

I do the same. I never do sex chat before we first meet for a coffee and usually won't do sex chat then either. "

I have engaged in sex talk prior to a social before, when he turned up and didn't really look like his pics it was awkward so I don't anymore! I had another 'appointment' that day to

Not sex. I like meeting people so happy to talk about anything. Keep it lighthearted though.
