Can you find love in a club?

Not according to my Nan you can't but that was back in the day, she used to say you can't find love in a club, meaning that boys on a night out will be just out for one thing. But moving forward almost 10 years and the amount of online dating and hook up sites we have now do you think guys are getting all their sex from online sources and the ones that are out in bars and clubs would be the genuine single guys just out with mates?
Like if a guy was attached chances are he would be doing couple stuff on a weekend or having a nice night in with the misses.
Yes the single guys in clubs could also be on online dating sites but actually meeting someone in the flesh first could eliminate the disposable way they see women or could see someone they meet in a bar or club as date material rather than good for a fuck, as most men do see women on sites like these.
Method in my madness or not? Discuss...

I'm out of the dating game but I met my husband in a club. He was on a stag do and got punched in the face when we were chatting outside so I took him back to mine to sort him out.
Now though whenever I'm out with my friends I see groups of guys just getting hammered.

I'm not sure that there is that much science to it, and it's more down to being in the right place at the right time. But if I was ever to find myself single again, I don't think I'd bother with online dating just from the stories I hear, but equally I do know people that have got married after meeting through online dating; so it can't all be bad.

I don't think it matters how you meet a man, some will only be after a shag and others will want more than that, whether you meet them here, a conventional dating site, in a club or pub, at work, down the gym or wherever.
Stop looking for 'the one' and he will turn up when you least expect it. |

Love has a habit of smacking you in the face when you least expect it, if you go looking for it you won't find it no matter where you go.
You can't expect people to turn their emotions on and let their barriers down if they don't want to.
Friendship and trust have to be given freely and not forced. |

I think you'll have to scope out different places, to see who goes to them.
When I used to go out with my friends, when we were in our 40s, I mainly got much younger men chatting me up. |

Well I’d say most definitely yes!
We met in clubf, started dating 10 days later, 4 months on we live together, we’re newly engaged (holding party at clubf in a few weeks) and we’ve booked our wedding for 3 years time

Love can find you anywhere! It found me at a bus stop once in my youth, in a wine bar on the stroke of midnight on NYE, at a South West Regional Committee Meeting lol....all you can do is be open, and get out there!  |

I met hubby in a club. We clashed heads on the dance floor... mind you that was about 20 years ago when the internet was barely a thing... jeez I feel old!!

I met the father of my child in a club in 2000 and was with him 9 years! |
