"As long as we don't go back to that awful tracing paper stuff of the 70s & 80s... "
Oohh that stuff was painful, especially when you're a scruncher! Maybe that is why I am a folder now |

We can use our hands and water and we don't tend to shit or piss our selves involuntarily in public.
My sister's incontinence pads and sheets were free. |

We never used that stuff, my mate's mum bought it though and it wasn't very absorbent. |

The range they sell in supermarkets has made them more accessible which is good. |

"On average, consumers use 8.6 sheets per trip – a total of 57 sheets per day. That’s an annual total of 20,805 sheets.
That's 6.6279069767 shits a day.
Are you ill man?
"
...someone's getting his 5-a-day... |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
It's not universally used. I remember newspaper cut up into squares...
I buy it, along with menstrual products, soap, shampoo and deodorant, for my foodbank donations.
Just as your menstrual products thread yesterday you'll get the same answers and the same rows will ensue. What's the purpose of this thread? What other products are you going to question?

"You would think that it was given the amount my kids get through in this house!
Following your thinking,
Shouldn't water be free, food, tampons."
No, because some people will choose to contribute less, or take more... |

"You could ask that about a few things...
Should sanitary products be free also? "
Yes, at least to girls under 16. I saw the advert the other day and it really made me think about it. |

There wasn't an answer yesterday, it just ended up a bitching session about people on benefits. |

8.6? Is that for a number one or a number 2? "
It does seem low. I’d probably still use 8.6 sheets if it was a ghost poo, just to be sure. |

Low? Really? I think it’s high, although I suppose how many times you go to the toilet a day. I think we may need the expertise of Princess Peach here |

Yes!
The one thing I don't get is why should we have to pay for condoms but the pill and other contraception is free??
And sanitary products!!! Why should we pay for these, it's a natural cycle every woman has to go through every month
Sorry as you were
Mrs x |

If they were free in all shops, people would take the piss!
Other forms of contraception you have to go to the doctors or clinic for, so why not condoms? |
